As I master the craft, faster than a MasterCraftSpeedboatin through ya ocean, you jokes hope to stay afloatYa head boppin, chop it open, never crop the braggadociosNotice focus on the spoken, holdin holy scriptures open.Put a choke-hold on what the pope told, with no doughOr studio, just a finicky flow and a replenishing soul.Never diminish interest in the finished product of labor,Cravin the fame of the savior of ill inner thought relayers.
I will have to work on that more and update the post at a later date. But, I hope you dig.
My steez- is definitely tryin to squeeze -at least three- times as many lines as any rhyme- past or present time- at last my presence shines.
You get the idea. Since I've been writing and rhyming in my spare, I seem to have found a huge world of verbal possibilities that I hope to exploit. Rusty now, shiny later.
Well, all of this has amounted to me teaming up with R.O.B while we trudge through what's left of Clemson now that the fun has dwindled a bit. We decided to do a concept genre-crossover album with Funk and Hip-Hop, and created a group called E. Funk St. You can go to the Facebook group or the MySpace page to take a gander at our marvel. There is a video posted on both that R.O. both spit; it's also available on YouTube.
I'm diggin, you should too. We do have a show (details through the FB group), and I'm mad anxious for that. But until then, I'll try to stay interesting on the blearghg.
I'm just gonna leave you with a list of a few that influence my steez:
-A Tribe Called Quest
-Aesop Rock
-Atmosphere
-Brother Ali
-Hieroglyphics
-Jay-Z
-KRS One
-NaS
-Rakim
-Soul Position
